Taraneh Enterprises Inc.,[2] formerly and commonly referred to as Taraneh Records (Persian: شرکت ترانه), is an American Persian music record label which is based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1981, two years after the Iranian Revolution in 1979 and most pre-revolutionary artists left Iran in order to continue their music careers since music was censored by the Islamic Republic. Notable artists who have worked with Taraneh Records include: Googoosh, Hayedeh, Moein, Mahasti, Ebi, Dariush and Andy.[3][4]
