TTA (Tuinglas Technisch Atelier)
[edit]TTA was a Dutch horticulture automation company founded in 1996, specializing in automation solutions for transplanting and sorting processes.[6][7]
ISO Horti
[edit]ISO Horti was a Dutch horticultural robotics and automation company founded in 2002, specializing in vision technology and industrial technology to automate processes such as cutting and planting.[5]
Present
[edit]Since January 20, 2025, the two companies have operated together as TTA-ISO. The company develops and designs automation machinery equipped with AI systems and vision technology. The equipment automates common horticulture processes that require manual handling by human operators.[8]
In 2026, TTA-ISO became a member of the Club of 100, a research and innovation collaboration in greenhouse horticulture managed by Wageningen University & Research.[9][10]
Over the years, TTA-ISO (or former companies) have won awards in the horticulture industry:
- 2023: Best Technology Advancement from Vertical Farming World Awards for the bHarvest[11]
- 2024: Best Technology Advancement from Vertical Farming World Awards for the CuttingEgde[1]
TTA-ISO has been nominated for the following awards:

[edit]For the grafting process, TTA-ISO developed what it describes as the world's first fully automated grafting machine. The GraftLine BC (below the cotyledons) and the GraftLine AC (above the cotyledons) cut and join plants using Vision AI technology and robotic handling.[15]
HarvAI
[edit]In 2025, TTA-ISO introduced HarvAI, a fully automated tomato harvesting robot. It’s the first machine, as said by the company, to fully automate the tomato harvesting process. The machine uses a 3D-guided robot navigation system, features ripeness detection with AI vision software and has an automatic disinfection feature.[16]
CuttingPlanter 2.0
[edit]In 2026, TTA-ISO launched the CuttingPlanter 2.0, an automated cutting planting machine. Eleven years ago, the company launched the original CuttingPlanter, the world's first machine for automatically planting cuttings. The CuttingPlanter 2.0 is an upgrade of the original machine and features a wider picking area, a faster robot with an extended working range, and a cutting return belt.[17][18]
