Susan Villa is a Spanish actress, journalist, television presenter and model. She has worked in television, film, fashion and journalism, and has served as president and director of Pasarela Española[1].[2][3]

Early life and education

Villa trained in dramatic arts before developing a career in television, fashion and journalism. She studied at Academia Estudio 3 and completed additional training in acting and film, including acting for the camera. She subsequently studied journalism at the Universidad Isabel I.[2]

Acting and television

Villa began her professional career as an actress and has worked in theatre, film and television. In an interview published by the Universidad Isabel I, she described working on the Spanish film Amigos... with actor Ernesto Alterio and having roles in television productions including Aquí no hay quien viva. She has also participated in music videos.[2] Villa subsequently expanded her work into television presentation and cultural programming. She directed and presented Sintonía Urbana, a cultural programme for local television in Madrid featuring writers, film directors, actors, artists and musicians. She also presented a medical programme on local television and worked for 8 Bierzo Televisión, where she presented the Moda Atelier section.[2]

Fashion and Pasarela Española

In 2018, Euro Mundo Global identified Villa as president of Pasarela Española and reported on her work with the organisation. The article described Pasarela Española as a platform established in 2016 to promote Spanish fashion and solidarity through partnerships, and noted that Villa combined this work with her activities as a presenter, actress and model.[3] In November 2024, Murcia.com published an interview with Villa concerning the future of fashion, including inclusion, talent and sustainability.[4] In October 2025, Libertad Digital identified Villa as the director and president of Pasarela Española during its 18th edition at Casino Gran Vía in Madrid. The publication reported on the participation of national and international emerging designers and Villa's discussion of support for young designers and sustainable fashion.[5]

Journalism

Villa has worked as an interviewer and journalist covering cultural and fashion-related subjects. She interviewed Jesús María Montes-Fernández, director of the television programme Flash Moda, in an article published by Pasarela Española.[6] Villa has also conducted interviews for Diario Sabemos. In January 2026, the publication credited her as the interviewer of actress Cristina Medina in an article concerning the challenges faced after cancer treatment.[7]
