Strive Health is a kidney care company based in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in 2018 and is led by Co founder and Chief Executive Officer Chris Riopelle. The company provides technology-supported care for people with chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease. It has also expanded its services to include care for people with congestive heart failure.[1][2]
Strive Health works with payors, health systems, nephrologists, and primary care providers. Its services include in-home and virtual support for people with chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease, including support related to dialysis and kidney transplant care. It connects patients with care teams that may include nurse practitioners, registered nurses, case managers, care coordinators, and other specialists.[3][2][4]
In 2021, Strive Health raised $140 million in Series B funding.[5] The company raised another $166 million in Series C funding in 2023,[6][7][8] followed by $550 million in Series D funding in 2025.[9] In 2023, Strive Health also partnered with Oak Street Health to provide care for Medicare patients with advanced chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease.[10][11]
As of 2025, Strive Health cared for more than 145,000 people with kidney disease, partnered with more than 6,500 providers across all 50 U.S. states, managed nearly $5 billion in annual medical spend, and had more than 700 employees.[12][13]
Strive Health developed an internal machine learning technology called CareMultiplier. The platform collects data from different sources to help identify patient risk levels and create personalized care plans for people with kidney disease.[14][15][16]
