The Spine Tower is a office skyscraper in the Maslak district of Istanbul, Turkey. Built between 2011 and 2014, the tower stands at 211 m (692 ft) with 47 floors and is the current 10th tallest building in Istanbul.
Designed by İki Design Group, Spine Tower is a masterpiece of modern engineering, characterized by its unique "spine-like" curved silhouette that stands as a beacon of luxury in the Maslak business district. Standing at a structural height of 202 meters (reaching 211 meters with its tip), the building is composed of a massive reinforced concrete core wrapped in a high-tech glass and steel facade.
The tower features a total of 47 floors above ground and is designed with a mixed-use concept that seamlessly blends business and high-end living. The lower floors are dedicated to A-class office spaces with large floor plates, while the upper floors—from the 30th floor upwards—house ultra-luxury Spine Residences, offering 360-degree panoramic views of the Bosphorus, the Black Sea, and the Belgrade Forest.
One of its defining features is the 9-floor basement, which includes one of the deepest parking and technical facility structures in Istanbul. The tower rises from a podium that hosts premium social amenities, including a fitness center, a private lounge, and high-end meeting rooms. The building’s aerodynamic, circular form is not just aesthetic; it was engineered to minimize wind load, ensuring structural stability at great heights.
