Comment: Rejected. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NACTOR; the draft does not provide sufficient significant coverage from independent, reliable sources. AriuCH (talk) 11:42, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
- Comment: The draft appears to contain AI-generated content requiring cleanup and source verification, for example the claim that The Deceased was selected for the 40th Fajr Film Festival, which is not supported by the cited source. The citations also rely primarily on routine press coverage and do not provide enough significant coverage to establish notability per WP:GNG. AriuCH (talk) 17:16, 1 October 2026 (UTC)

Sina Soheili (Persian: سینا سهیلی; born 3 December 1991), known professionally as Sina Mehrad (Persian: سینا مهراد), is an Iranian actor. He is the son of film director Saeed Soheili and the younger brother of actor Saed Soheili.[1]
Early life
[edit]Mehrad was born into a family involved in Iranian cinema. He appeared as a child actor in his father's film A Man Like Rain (1996), and later appeared in Naked Night (2001).[2]
After taking a break from acting during his school years, Mehrad returned to the performing arts and later worked as an assistant director. He worked with his father on Guidance Patrol before establishing himself as an actor.[1]
Mehrad chose Mehrad as his professional surname instead of using his family name, Soheili. He said that he wanted to establish his career independently of his father's name.[3]
Career
[edit]Mehrad's early television appearances included Pardeh-neshin and The Shade. His performance in The Shade attracted the attention of writer Hamed Angha and director Behrang Tofighi, who subsequently selected him for the television series Father.[1][4]
In Father, Mehrad played Hamed, a role that brought him wider recognition among television audiences.[5] He later reprised the character in the web series Aghazadeh (2020).[5]
Mehrad also appeared in films including Pig Gene, The Domestic Killer, Parting, Zar, and Kalashnikov.[6]
In 2022, Mehrad starred in the comedy-drama film Shadervan, directed by Hossein Namazi. The film was selected for the competition section of the 40th Fajr Film Festival.[7]
Mehrad later starred alongside Pardis Ahmadiyeh in Two Days Later, directed by Asghar Naimi. The film was presented at the Fajr Film Festival and was released theatrically in Iran in November 2025.[8]
In 2023, Mehrad served as producer of the film Money and Party, directed by Saeed Soheili. It was his first producing experience in cinema.[9]
In 2025, Mehrad joined the cast of the web series Forgotten (Az Yad Rafteh).[10] He was subsequently announced as a cast member of Bad Nam, directed by Ehsan Sajjadi Hosseini and written by Hamed Angha.[11]
In 2026, Mehrad became the presenter of Captain, a sports talent competition broadcast on Iranian television.
