Academic career

[edit]

Upon arriving in the United States, Soliman joined the faculty of Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, where she was appointed Assistant Professor. She taught courses in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Diseases, Geriatrics, and Radiology.[1] During her tenure, she was voted Outstanding Faculty of the Year for seven consecutive years.[1]

In 1999, she completed her U.S. medical certification examinations and relocated to Southern California, where she conducted oncology research at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).[1]

Medical career

[edit]

Residency and board certification

[edit]

In 2000, Soliman began her residency in Family Medicine at King Drew Medical Center (Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science) in Los Angeles. She was elected Chief Resident of her program and graduated with multiple honors in July 2003.[1] She is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.[1][2]

Soliman Care Family Practice Center

[edit]

Soliman joined the medical staff of Torrance Memorial Medical Center in 2004[3] and established Soliman Care Family Practice Center at 2780 Skypark Drive, Suite 115, Torrance, California.[4] The practice provides comprehensive primary care services including preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and family health services.

She is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance and Torrance Memorial Medical Center.[4] She holds active memberships with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Medical Association (AMA).[1]

Soliman speaks English, Arabic, and Spanish, serving a multilingual patient community in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County.[3][1]

[edit]

During her residency rotations, Soliman pursued training in cosmetic dermatology and received certifications in Botox, dermal filler injections, and laser surgery.[1] She subsequently co-founded Shantique Med Spa in Torrance, California, where she provides medical aesthetic services alongside her primary care practice.[5]
