SENSBODY is a South Korean brand of sex toys owned by Nexus Medicare Co., Ltd. Introduced in May 2020, the brand is primarily known for the GODDESS Asia line of male masturbators. The products are marketed as being developed from body moulds of adult performers and other models.[1]
History
[edit]Nexus Medicare was active in the South Korean adult-products market before the introduction of SENSBODY. In December 2018, BusinessPost reported that the company was expanding its offline distribution through Shinsegae's Pierrot Shopping stores and planned to supply products to Electro Mart locations.[2]
Nexus Medicare introduced SENSBODY in May 2020 with the first product in the GODDESS Asia series. The initial release was a hand-held male masturbator developed in collaboration with South Korean adult performer Lee Chaedam.[1] A later article published by Newsworker also identified Lee as the brand's first model and reported that the product had been made using a mould of her body.[3]
On 3 March 2022, Nexus Medicare filed a United States trademark application for the SENSBODY name. The application covered sex toys, male masturbation devices, vibrators and other adult sexual aids.[4]
Products and collaborations
[edit]The brand's principal product line is GODDESS Asia, a series of TPE-based male masturbators. Some products have been offered in both firmer "Original" and softer "Soft" versions.[5]
Following the Lee Chaedam release, SENSBODY produced collaboration products featuring South Korean and Japanese performers and models. Taiwanese entertainment website KISMETW reported on the company's collaboration with Japanese adult performer Nanami Matsumoto and noted earlier products featuring Mao Hamasaki, Akari Mitani and Rima Arai.[6]
The company's official catalogue has subsequently included products based on adult performers, non-professional models, online content creators and a virtual YouTuber.[5]
Online distribution
[edit]SENSBODY operates Korean- and English-language online stores. Apple also distributes a SENSBODY mobile application developed by Nexus Medicare. The application supports Korean, English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.[7]
International activities
[edit]Nexus Medicare and SENSBODY JAPAN were listed as a South Korean exhibitor at the 2026 EDEN JAPAN-ADULT EXPO.[8] The business-to-business exhibition was scheduled for 27–29 May 2026 at the Tokyo Ryutsu Center and included companies from the adult-products, intimate-care and wellness industries.[9]
