  • Comment: The newly added sources do not contain significant coverage of the film. If you are unable to find better sources then the draft is probably not sufficiently notable for Wikipedia at this time.
Don't use an LLM to edit the text and please use the "resubmit" button instead of asking the LLM to resubmit or whatever you are doing, you keep messing up the formatting. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 11:23, 25 September 2026 (UTC)
  • Comment: This is only a single review; you need at least 1-2 more sources with in-depth discussion. And the draft should summarize what the reviewers said about the movie (e.g. that the Film Information review was very negative). Helpful Raccoon (talk) 05:16, 25 September 2026 (UTC)

Ayaaz Khan.[1][2] The film was produced by actor and producer Pradeep Srivastava under his company, Impulse Cine Entertainments Private Limited, and presented alongside Sanjay Rai.[3] It stars Pulkit Raizada, Riya Kapoor, Nitish Bhaluni, Sonam Saini, Shivani Saumya and Pradeep Srivastava in lead roles.[1][3]

The movie focuses on a group of engineering students whose college trip turns into a mystery following an unexpected event.[3] The film opened in Indian theatres on 1 March 2024.[1]

Synopsis

[edit]

The story follows a group of engineering students from Sitapur who go on a college trip to the mountains for fun, music, and romance.[3] Their vacation falls apart when they discover the sudden death of their friends.[3] The rest of the plot turns into a tense situation as the panicked students face a police investigation and try to find a way to return home safely.[3][2]

Cast

[edit]

The film's cast includes the following actors:[1][3]

  • Pulkit Raizada
  • Riya Kapoor
  • Nitish Bhaluni

  • Pradeep Srivastava

Production

[edit]

The film was produced by Impulse Cine Entertainments Private Limited, a film company based in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.[4][5] The makers cast several local theatre artists and regional actors from North India alongside actors from Mumbai.[4] After the movie hit theatres, the trade magazine Film Information put out an independent review looking at the film's direction, script, and technical work.[6]

The promotional work for the movie started in Ayodhya, where the first look posters and teaser were launched at the Hanumangarhi temple by chief priest Mahant Raju Das.[4][5] During the launch event, the filmmakers shared that the movie aims to address contemporary issues faced by today's youth, adding that Uttar Pradesh's upcoming film city policies encouraged them to plan and launch the project.[4][5]

Critical reception

[edit]

The film received mixed feedback upon release. The trade magazine Film Information gave the project a critical review, noting weaknesses in its screenplay and overall technical execution.[6] Mainstream media outlets like Live Hindustan highlighted the movie's focus on youth struggles and its social message.[7] The film's core technical layout and profile credits were also catalogued by the regional movie platform Nowrunning.[8]

Release

[edit]

The official trailer and music tracks of the film came out online in early 2024.[9]

Sandeh had its theatrical release across single screens and multiplexes in India on 1 March 2024.[1][2] The production house managed the delivery and digital distribution of the movie to cinema halls independently using Qube Cinema and UFO Moviez networks.[3]
