Sachin Vinod Modi is an Indian screenwriter and filmmaker. His writing credits include the Hindi-language thriller Vodka Diaries (2018) and the short films Love Birds (2020) and Speed Dial (2021).

Career

While studying at the MET Institute of Mass Media, Modi was among students recognised as first-level winners of the Filmaka Short Film Competition.[1]

Modi later worked on the dialogues of the 2018 Hindi-language mystery thriller Vodka Diaries, directed by Kushal Srivastava. A review published by Firstpost credited the film's dialogue to Manisha Korde and Sachin Vinod Modi.[2]

In 2020, Modi wrote the story, screenplay and dialogue for the short film Love Birds, starring Adhyayan Suman and Sneha Singh.[3] The film was nominated at the Filmfare Short Film Awards in 2021.[4]

Modi was also a writer on the short film Speed Dial, directed by Srivastava and starring Shreyas Talpade and Aksha Pardasany.[5]

In 2021, The Times of India published a photograph identifying Modi alongside Srivastava and producer Antara Srivastava during a location recce in Lucknow for the proposed film Golden Arrows.[4]
