RoboBagger is a construction equipment brand specialising in remote-controlled, battery-electric mini excavators. The brand is operated by DGE Trading Ltd., a company registered in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Its equipment is marketed primarily to professional customers in the United States through a launch and preorder programme.[1]
Products and technology
[edit]As of 2026, the RoboBagger range consists of the RB05, RB10 and RB15 remote-controlled electric excavators.[2] The machines combine remote operation with a fully electric hydraulic platform. The standard launch configuration uses a 72-volt, 180-ampere-hour battery with a capacity of 12.96 kilowatt-hours and an integrated charger.[2]
Remote operation allows an operator to control the excavator from a distance, while battery-electric power permits operation without exhaust emissions at the worksite. The machines are intended for restricted-access excavation, utility work, landscaping, interior renovation, demolition support and other applications where access or operator positioning may be limited.[2]
The RB05 has a published machine weight of 780 kg (1,720 lb), an overall width of 660 mm (26 in) and a digging depth of 1,460 mm (4 ft 9 in).[3]
Attachments
[edit]RoboBagger excavators can be configured with attachments for excavation, material handling, drilling, grading and demolition-support work. Available attachment types include digging and grading buckets, hydraulic breakers, grapples, augers, rippers, quick hitches and tilt buckets. Attachment compatibility depends on the excavator model, hydraulic requirements, coupler dimensions and the intended application.[4]
Distribution and customer support
[edit]RoboBagger has delivered hundreds of machines to customers in North America.[citation needed] Machines are delivered in production batches because the company does not operate a conventional dealer network.[citation needed]
RoboBagger uses a direct-sales model in which customers purchase equipment from the company rather than through independent dealers. The company also provides customers with direct technical support, parts assistance and warranty-claim support.[citation needed]
