Reshift Media Inc. is a Toronto-based digital marketing agency that provides services in social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), software development, and website/app design and development with a focus on franchise systems and multi-location businesses..[1] The company has also launched a software tool, Franify, which is a franchise digital marketing platform. [1]
Reshift Media is a member of the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA), and the International Franchise Association (IFA).[1][2][3]
The agency employs more than 50 full-time professionals. [1]
History
[edit]Reshift Media was founded by Kirk Allen and Steve Buors in 2012 and was established to provide digital marketing and technology services.[4]
In 2022, it was recognized with the North American and Worldwide Golds in the Marketing Impact, Lead Generation category at the 2022 MMA Global SMARTIES Awards for its work with Dogtopia.[5]
It was also named the World's Best Franchise Marketing Firm in 2023[6], 2024[7], 2025[8] and 2026[9] by the Global Franchise Awards. In 2023 and 2024[3], Reshift Media was named Entrepreneur magazine's Top Franchise Supplier.
In 2025, Reshift Media received the Distinguished Franchise Support Service/Supplier Award from the Canadian Franchise Association.[10]
It was awarded Gold for the Marketing Disruptor of the Year in the 2025 International Business Awards® Stevie® Awards for its work with Pizza Hut [11] and awarded a Silver Stevie® Award for Company of the Year – Advertising, Marketing, & Public Relations at the 2025 International Business Awards® [12]
In June 2025, Reshift Media collaborated with The World Franchise Council and Canadian Franchise Association to support the development and execution of the marketing strategy for the inaugural World Franchise Day, held on June 11th, 2025.[13] The initiative was established to recognize the contributions of local business owners within franchise systems and to highlight the economic impact of franchising.[14][13] World Franchise Day is now observed annually on the second Wednesday of June.[14]
Operations
[edit]Reshift Media works with over 250 clients across 20 countries in various industries.[3] On April 8th, 2026, the company launched Franify, which is a digital marketing platform for franchise systems.[citation needed]
