Rajmal S. Jain (14 March 1933 - 29 December 2012) was an Indian philanthropist and a pioneer in the field of eye care. He was the founder of Shree Bhairav Charitable Trust, earlier known as Shree Bhairav Netra Yagna Samiti established in 1968. and Shree Bhairav Eye Hospital in Bisalpur, Pali district, Rajasthan. He dedicated his life to providing accessible eye care to rural and economically disadvantaged communities. According to various published sources, eye camps organized under his leadership helped restore the eyesight of more than 300,000 people.

Early Life

Rajmal S. Jain was born in bisalpur village in Rajasthan,India. Despite having limited formal education, he devoted his life to social service, with a particular focus on expanding healthcare services in rural areas.^[1]

Social and Medical Contributions

Rajmal S. Jain founded Shree Bhairav Netra Samiti and played a key role in establishing Shree Bhairav Eye Hospital in Bisalpur, Rajasthan.^[2] The hospital was created with the objective of providing high-quality and affordable eye care to underserved and rural populations. He also organised 367 eye surgical camps at various places of Rajasthan,Gujrat, Maharashtra, UP

Under the guidance of Rajmal ji S Jain following hospitals were also established

Bhagwan mahaveer hospital, Sumerpur
Rotari Eye hospital, jaitaran
Gurudev Shanti Suri Netra chikitsalay, Mandoli
Mehta Eye hospital idar, gujrat
Shri Bhairav charitable eye hospital, Bhiwandi
Aacharya mahapragya Netra chikitsalay, wagdari

In addition to eye care, he also supported residential schools for children with hearing and speech impairments, as well as several other community welfare initiatives.^[3]

Even after the demise of rajmal s jain all the institutions and activites are been running well by his family members and Trust.
