Rajiv Babbar is an Indian politician associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has held organisational positions in the BJP's Delhi unit and has contested the Delhi Legislative Assembly election from the Tilak Nagar constituency three times. Early life and education

Political career

Babbar has been associated with the BJP since the early 1990s. During the 2013 Delhi Legislative Assembly election, he was reported as the BJP's West Delhi district president and spokesperson while contesting from Tilak Nagar."Debut match in Tilak Nagar". The Times of India. 2013.

Babbar first contested the Delhi Legislative Assembly election from Tilak Nagar in 2013 as a BJP candidate. He again contested Tilak Nagar as the BJP candidate in the 2015 Delhi Legislative Assembly election. In October 2020, Babbar was appointed vice-president of the Delhi unit of the BJP as part of the organisational team announced by Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta."Delhi BJP announces new office-bearers". The Times of India. 2 October 2020.

During preparations for the 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly election, Babbar was included in committees constituted by the Delhi BJP for election-related organisational work. On 17 August 2026, the BJP announced a new national organisational team under party president Nitin Nabin.
