Draft:Q-desics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Q-desics are a framework in quantum gravity in which the classical geodesic equation is generalized using quantized metric operators and (e.g. Weyl ordered) operator products. The central point is that, in the geodesic equation, the Christoffel symbols contain products of metric functions. When these are promoted to operators, the relevant quantity becomes the expectation value of operator products, which generally differs from the product of expectation values used in classical treatments. After this approach has been proposed in two research papers,[1][2] it has gained considerable attention from a broader public in 2026[3]
