Pradyumna Ghosal is an academic and researcher in pharmaceutical chemistry. He is a teaching associate in the School of Applied Chemistry and Basic Sciences at Sardar Bhagwan Singh University in Dehradun, India.[1]

Education

Ghosal obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry with honours from Gauhati University and a Master of Science degree in pharmaceutical chemistry from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. He received a gold medal for the 2020–2022 academic session at the latter university.[1]

Research

Ghosal has co-authored research on the laboratory evaluation of diclofenac sodium injection products using ultraviolet–visible spectrophotometry.[2] He also co-authored a study of the phytochemical composition, phenolic profile and antioxidant activity of Sonchus arvensis.[3]

Awards

According to his university profile, Ghosal received the Young Scientist Award in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from UCOST, Government of Uttarakhand, and the Anundoram Borooah Award in 2014 from the Government of Assam.[1]
