Lucía Dominguez Dominguín (born 1996), professionally known as Palito Dominguín, is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist, fashion model, and television personality. Born into the prominent Bosé-Dominguín artistic dynasty, she initially built a career in fine arts and photography before gaining widespread national recognition through her appearances on Spanish reality and talent television programs.
Early life and education
[edit]Lucía Tristancho Dominguín was born in 1996 in Badajoz, Extremadura. She is the daughter of actress and entrepreneur Lucía Dominguín and Carlos Tristancho. Through her maternal line, she is the granddaughter of the Italian actress Lucía Bosé and the legendary Spanish bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín. She is the niece of singer Miguel Bosé and actress Paola Dominguín, the younger half-sister of the late model and singer Bimba Bosé, and the cousin of actor Nicolás Coronado.
Despite her family's media prominence, Dominguín spent her childhood largely insulated from public view, growing up on a rural farm in Extremadura surrounded by nature and without a television. At the age of 16, she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her education. She completed a specialized high school baccalaureate in music, photography, and art in Brighton, and subsequently moved to Bournemouth to study Fine Arts at the AUB (Arts University Bournemouth), spending a total of seven years living in the country.[1] [2]
Career
[edit]Art and fashion
[edit]Following her return to Spain, Dominguín began working professionally across multiple artistic disciplines, including painting, digital illustration, embroidery, and ceramics. Her work is characterized by minimalist imagery and organic themes. She establishes residence in Madrid, where her contemporary art collections have been formally represented and showcased by the DDR Art Gallery.
In addition to her studio art, Dominguín has worked as a fashion model. She made her runway debut in 2016 for designer Francis Montesinos at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. She has since walked the runway and modeled for other prominent Spanish designers and fashion houses, including Ángel Schlesser and Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada.[3] [4]
Television career
[edit]Dominguín transitioned into mainstream media in April 2021 when she was announced as an official contestant on the twentieth season of the high-profile reality series Supervivientes (the Spanish edition of Survivor), filmed in Honduras. Her performance and sudden elimination garnered significant public attention and established her independent public identity apart from her famous surname.
In September 2023, she joined the cast of the culinary reality competition MasterChef Celebrity 8 on La 1, continuing a family tradition as several of her relatives had previously participated in the franchise. She was eliminated in the fourth episode alongside actor Miguel Diosdado. In 2026, she expanded her reality television profile by starring alongside her mother, Lucía Dominguín, in the interior design and home renovation competition series DecoMasters.[5] [6]
