Osome was founded in 2017 by Victor Lysenko and launched in Singapore in 2018.[5][2] The company was established to digitise administrative functions commonly outsourced by SMEs, including incorporation, bookkeeping, tax filing, payroll, and company secretarial compliance.[5]

In 2019, Osome announced a US$3 million funding round led by Target Global and stated that it would use the capital to support expansion into Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.[2]

In November 2020, the company raised an additional US$3 million extension round led by XA Network and AltaIR Capital. At the time, Osome said it served approximately 4,500 SME clients across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom.[5]

In June 2021, Osome raised US$16 million in a Series A financing round involving existing and new investors. The funding was intended to support international expansion, product development, and growth in the e-commerce segment.[6]

In December 2022, Osome announced a US$25 million Series B round led by Illuminate Financial, AFG Partners, and Winter Capital. The company stated that revenues had doubled since its previous round and that it intended to move toward positive cash flow.[3]

In 2024, Osome raised an additional US$17 million as an extension to its Series B round.[7]

In November 2025, founder and chief executive officer Victor Lysenko stepped down after more than eight years leading the company.[8][9] In January 2026, Osome appointed Eugenio Ferrante as chief executive officer.[4]
