The OnePlus 15 is a high-end Android-based smartphone manufactured and designed by OnePlus. It was launched on October 27, 2025, in China and internationally on November 13, 2025.
The OnePlus 15R, part of the 15 series, was announced globally in December 2025.The OnePlus 15T, also part of the 15 series, was announced in China in March 2026. As operation ceases in the US and Europe, the OnePlus 15 was the last flagship phone released.[5][6]
OnePlus 15 is available in 3 colors—a violet and black variant which has a glass back, and a sandstorm variant which uses micro-arc oxidation and has a plastic back. It has flat sides as opposed to the curved sesides of its predecessors.

[edit]OnePlus 15 uses a 7300 mAh silicon carbon battery, which has a higher energy density compared to the typical graphite-based lithium-ion batteries found in most smartphones.
GSMArena[7] reported that the OnePlus 15 has a higher battery runtime than OnePlus 13 in their battery tests—23 hr 7 minutes vs 15 hr 28 minutes in active use score.
OnePlus 15 supports 120W wired charging using the OnePlus SuperVOOC charger. A full charge in this cases is estimated to take 40 minutes. OnePlus 15 supports 50W wireless charging using the OnePlus AirVOOC charger and the AirVOOC magnetic charger with a magnetic case.

OnePlus 15 ships with Android 16 with Oxygen OS 16 as its UI skin. OnePlus claims to provide four years of feature Android updates and six years of security patches for this model.

OnePlus 15's display measures 17.23 cm (6.78 inches, measured diagonally from corner to corner) and features a resolution of 2772×1272 (FHD+) at 450 ppi, with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a peak HBM of 1800 nits and supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz(lowest) to 120Hz (LTPO technology) normally , which can go up to a maximum of 165Hz in gaming mode. The screen is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut (Typical) and renders up to 1.07 billion colors through 10-bit color depth.

The OnePlus 15 is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. At its core is the Qualcomm® Oryon™ CPU clocked at 4.608GHz, paired with the Adreno™ 840 GPU running at 1200MHz . The device is available in two RAM configurations — 12GB and 16GB globally and 24 GB only in China LPDDR5X variants. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB for global markets and 1 TB for China all with UFS 4.1 standard.

[edit]- Camera system: The OnePlus 15 has a massively downgraded telephoto sensor from the OnePlus 13 (1/1.95" in 13 to 1/2.76" in 15). The main camera (1/1.4" in 13 to 1/1.56" in 15) and ultrawide cameras (1/2.76" in 13 to 1/2.88" in 15) have been slightly downgraded. The OnePlus 15 does not have the Hasselblad collaboration marking the end of the agreement and instead uses the "DetailMax Engine".
- Display: The OnePlus 15 has a downgraded display resolution of 1272 x 2722 pixels instead of the 1440 x 3168 pixels in the OnePlus 13.
- Haptics: A smaller haptic motor reduces tactile feedback precision compared to the previous generation[9]
