Nowruz Rangin (Persian: نوروز رنگی) is an Iranian television series in the comedy genre directed by Ali Mashhadi. The series was produced by the film and television group of IRIB TV5 and was broadcast during Nowruz 1400.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Plot
[edit]The series tells the story of a middle-class family from Mashhad during Nowruz in 1988. The father, who has five sons and two daughters, is owed money by someone. The person who intends to repay him gives him a color television instead, with the understanding that the television can be sold if the money cannot be provided later. After some time, the father and the rest of the family go on a trip, while Javad and Jafar, two of the family's sons, remain at home. A series of amusing events then happens to them.
The cast of the series includes Rabia Oskouei, Javad Khajavi, Hadi Aamel Hashemi, Yousef Teymouri, Shahram Ghaedi, Parisa Moghtadi, Mahan Abdi, Shaho Rostami, Simin Behfar, Elaheh Jafari, Hadiseh Zarei, Mohammad Eslami, Sina Razaghi, Hamid Reza Hafez Shajeri, Mohammad Reyhani (Pouya Reyhani), Mohammad Ali Kesht-Mandi, and Sima Khaleghi.[7]
