Nineteen Steps is an upcoming American alternate history coming-of-age romantic drama film directed by Tom Hooper and written by Anthony McCarten. It is based on the 2023 novel of the same name by Millie Bobby Brown and Kathleen McGurl.
Production
[edit]In August 2024, it was announced that an adaptation of the 2023 novel Nineteen Steps by Millie Bobby Brown and Kathleen McGurl was in development, with Anthony McCarten writing the screenplay and Brown producing and potentially starring, with Netflix distributing the film.[1] In April 2026, Tom Hooper had been hired to direct the film.[2]
