Nadia Beddini (also known by the names Nadia Ali and Smilez) is an Italian-Egyptian actress, producer and reality TV personality. She is known for her 2020 documentary, Forgotten in California and for her appearances on the reality series Love & Hip Hop: Miami and One Mo Chance.

Career

Modeling and Early Work

Beddini began her professional career as a model. In 2008, she appeared as the testimonial for Maxibon in a national television commercial.

Filmmaking

In 2020, Beddini wrote, directed, and produced the independent documentary Forgotten in California. The film focuses on the homelessness crisis in Los Angeles, utilizing raw, "on the street" interviews in Venice Beach and Skid Row to humanize the affected populations. Her other directorial credits include the short films Black Italians (2017) and La Mia Milano (2022).

Reality Television

Beddini has appeared in several competitive and docuseries reality programs, often under the moniker Smilez:

One Mo' Chance: Participated in Season 2, which premiered in September 2021 (following the series debut in October 2020) on the Zeus Network.

Bad Vs. Wild: Appeared in the 2024 series on Zeus.

Love & Hip Hop: Miami: Joined the cast of the franchise for season 7 released in November 2025 on BET.

Personal life

Beddini has been publicly associated with comedian Michael Blackson. In 2025, media reports indicated that she is the mother of his son, King Kweku Blackson.[1][2]
