NMW is a Swedish FiveM server for the video game Grand Theft Auto V. It was founded in 2021 by Neo and Juze as a gang roleplay server and later became a competitive player-versus-player (PvP) server.
History
[edit]NMW was founded in Sweden in 2021 by Neo and Juze, together with a group of friends. The server originally focused on gang roleplay, a style of play in which players form crews and act out criminal storylines. During this period the project was also known as NMW RP. At its peak, the roleplay server had around 100 players.
The server was later rebuilt as a competitive PvP server, and plans for a separate roleplay server were dropped.
Gameplay
[edit]NMW uses six custom systems:
- Hop Outs, a ranked arena mode
- Turf Wars, a territorial mode with 14 zones
- A casino
- Player-run vehicle dealerships
- An XP and prestige progression system
- A connected website, Discord bot and in-game platform
The server runs in seasons, each with its own battle pass and challenges. As of 2026, the server is in its second season, titled Redline. Access to the server is by whitelist application.
