Muhammad Tayyab Shabbir is a Pakistani entrepreneur and author based in the United Kingdom. He is a co-author of the undergraduate physics textbook Classical Mechanics: A professor–student collaboration (IOP Publishing, 2020) and the founder of the business planning consultancy Avvale Consulting.[1][2]
Education and writing
[edit]Born in Pakistan and raised in Kuwait, Shabbir moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 17 to study physics at University College London (UCL).[3] While an undergraduate, he was one of six students who co-wrote Classical Mechanics: A professor–student collaboration together with their lecturer, Mario Campanelli, based on the first-year classical mechanics course at UCL.[1][4] Reviewing the book in Contemporary Physics, David J. Miller described it as "a very approachable and enthusiastic treatment of the topic" that "will lay a firm foundation for further courses".[5][6] The authors presented the book at the CERN Library in November 2020.[7]
Career
[edit]Shabbir founded Avvale Ltd, a London-positioned business planning consultancy, in 2023.[2] In September 2026 he was interviewed about his work on the Pakistan Television Corporation morning programme Rising Pakistan.[3] He was named a finalist in the UK SME Global Expansion category of the 2026 Global Innovator Awards, an awards programme for founders who came to the UK on innovation and talent visa routes.[8]
