Micoe is a Chinese publicly traded clean energy company founded in 2000 and headquartered in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province. The company primarily manufactures a full range of clean energy home appliances,including solar water heaters, air-source heat pumps, energy storage batteries, photovoltaic systems, kitchen appliances, and water purifiers.[1]
According to an official report from the Lianyungang municipal government,Micoe is ranked among the world's top 500 new energy companies and has established a global partnership network spanning more than 100 countries.[2]
Technology
[edit]Micoe is a partner of China's polar scientific research expeditions.The company's air-source heat pumps are used to heat the greenhouse at the Great Wall Station in Antarctica.Equipped with the"DD-HOT Double Heat Loop” high-performance heating system,these units can generate heat at temperatures as low as –36 °C and achieve energy savings of 67.7%.[3]
In May 2024,Micoe completed the topping-out ceremony for its 200 million yuan heat pump zero-carbon experimental building,which has a total floor area of approximately 32652.31 square meters.This building integrates three core zero-carbon technologies: photovoltaics,energy storage,and heat pumps.Additionally,Micoe has been recognized as a provincial-level green factory by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.[4]
Social responsibility
[edit]In June 2013,Micoe helped organize six space science outreach events across the country.[5]
In December 2016, according to a report by People's Daily, Micoe donated 5 million yuan to launch the "Mother's Water Kiln" public welfare project in Henan in partnership with the China Women's Development Foundation.[6]
International presence
[edit]According to pv magazine, Micoe participated in the 2025 South American international Solar Exhibition held in São Paulo, Brazil,where it showcased its solar water heater products.These products utilize MPPT controllers and can achieve a maximum water temperature of 70 °C (158 °F).[7]
Micoe is expanding its global market presence through cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba International and Amazon.[8]
