Demographics
[edit]As of 2011 census, Matkobera is a medium size village located in Khuntpani Block of Pashchimi Singhbhum district, Jharkhand with total 302 families residing. The Matkobera village has population of 1,451 of which 712 are males while 739 are females.[1]
Chaibasa Forest is 7 kilometres (4mi) far away from Matkobera.[citation needed]
Panchayati Raj Structure
[edit]Matkobera Gram Panchayat is the village-level Panchayati Raj institution. It handles local development and basic civic services such as drinking water, sanitation, street lighting and village infrastructure.
