[edit]Matija Nikolic (Belgrade, 29. august 2001.) is a professional handball player who currently plays at center back position for RK Vojvodina [1]and Serbian National team[2][3].

Career
[edit]He started his career in his hometown of Belgrade at RK Crvena Zvezda[4] where he played for the youth team and progressed to the first team in 2017 at only 16 years old. In 2020 he moved to Slovenia to join RD Skofja Loka , where he spent three years competing in the Slovenian league. In 2023 he made his move to RK Vardar 1961[5]. During his two seasons in Skopje, he helped his team win the North Macedonian Super Cup in 2023[6], and the North Macedonian Cup in 2025[7]. In 2025 he came back to Serbia and joined the 12 time Serbian National League champion RK Vojvodina[8] where he curently plays.
