MC Creed is a British MC, recording artist, promoter and radio host associated with the UK garage scene. He was a member of the UK garage group Da Click, whose 1999 single Good Rhymes reached number 14 on the UK Singles Chart.^[1]

During the emergence of UK garage as a mainstream genre, MC Creed was featured in The Guardian as one of the figures involved in debates surrounding the direction and development of the UK garage scene.^[2]

In a 2023 feature examining the history of MCs in dance music culture, Mixmag described MC Creed as "one of the godfathers of UK garage MCing".^[3]

MC Creed has appeared in documentaries chronicling the history of UK garage music, including Rewind 4Ever: The History of UK Garage, The UK Garage Story, and 25 Years of UK Garage.^[4]^[5]^[6]

Emergence in UK garage

MC Creed became known through performances with Dominic Spreadlove at the Gass Club and at major UK garage events during the genre's formative years.^[10]

According to Resident Advisor, MC Creed was among the pioneering MCs who helped define UK garage culture during its formative years.^[11]

In a 2023 feature, Mixmag described MC Creed as "one of the godfathers of UK garage MCing" and highlighted his role in developing MC talent through Vocal Fusion.^[12]
