Love Finds You in Charm is a film adaptation of the Love Finds You in Charm, Ohio (novel) by Annalisa Daughety. Directed by Terry Cunningham and Curtis Grey, produced by George Shamieh, Cindy Bond, and Chevonne O’Shaughnessy. Distributed by Mission Pictures International, production by Mission Pictures International alongside Belltower Productions. Filmed on location in Holmes County, Ohio specifically in the real unincorporated community of Charm, as well as nearby towns like Sugarcreek and Millersburg. The film premiered on Sunday, 7 June, 2015.
Plot summary
[edit]Young Emma Miller (Danielle Chuchran) is a kind, beautiful, intelligent Amish woman with a loving family and the unwanted romantic attentions of Jacob (Kellen Boyle), who wants to marry her. But she's not ready to settle down; she hungers for adventure, travel, and freedom. When given the opportunity to spend a few months in Charm, OH helping her widowed cousin Lydia (Meg Wittman) she jumps at the chance. While there Emma meets Kelly (Tiffany Dupont), an Englischer who has come to Charm to escape her abusive ex-boyfriend and chaotic life. Despite their differences, the two become fast friends. As time passes she also gets to know Noah (Trevor Donovan) - a handsome, kind-hearted Amish man who has helped work Lydia's farm since her husband's passing. When Emma unintentionally attracts the attention of a wine-and-cheese blog editor, Englischer Andy (Drew Fuller), she finds herself torn between two very different men and two very different worlds.
