Characters

Hosts

• MePhone4 is a black-and-blue parody of the IPhone 4, hosting the first three seasons of the series. He was built by Steve Cobs and unknowingly imagined every contestant into existence. He loves cookies and often calls himself a “fat slob”. He created the show in order to rebel against Cobs, and retired in “Objects in Mirror”.

• Toilet is a toilet who co-hosts season 2. People often think he can’t do anything right, however he is very happy when he gets to do stuff, such as get wires for MePhone4. He had a friendship with MePad and dislikes Inanimate Insanity in season 4 because of it being the reason for MePad’s death.

• MePad is a black-and-purple parody of an IPad, being sympathetic, kind, and reasonable. He is taken by MePhone4 in a cave and co-hosts season 2. In “Objects in Mirror”, he is stabbed and killed by Cobs in order to protect the contestants, with contestants trying to recover him, though his circuitry was too damaged.

Debuted in Inanimate Insanity

• Apple is a contestant on II, II2 and IIV. She is a bossy but nice red apple who debuts in episode 6. She has very bad vocabulary and questions what words mean. She despises Marshmallow for spoiling Santa Claus, however befriends her in season 2 when realizing she didn’t mean to, living with her in Purgatory Mansion.
• Balloon is a contestant on II, II2, and III. He is a salmon-colored serious but friendly balloon. He act as a villain in the first season, believing nobody would root for him if he was just kind. In the second and third seasons, after being isolated from everyone, he tries to make it up to everyone. He forms a friendship with Suitcase in season 2, the only one willing to give Balloon another chance, and had a rivalry with Nickel. In season 3, Nickel and Balloon become friends. In season 4, the Blu-ray is used on him to protect him from death, since he is fragile.
• Baseball is a contestant on II and II2. He is a baseball who is the best friend of Nickel. He is kind, but often follows what Nickel does, though tries to stop Nickel’s rivalries with Balloon and Suitcase. In season 4, he is a tour guide.
• Bomb is a contestant on II. He is a bomb with a red fuse.
• Bow is a contestant on II. She is an independent bow tie who debuts in episode 10. She created advertisements with wooden chairs, finding them interesting. In season 1, she forms a friendship with Marshmallow, however gets trapped in a box and dies, unable to be recovered because MePhone4 was dead aswell. She becomes a ghost at “Purgatory Mansion” and befriends Marshmallow again, inviting Marshmallow to stay at the mansion along with Apple. She misses the game, however in season 4, she is against the game after realizing how harmful it is.
• Knife is a contestant on II and II2. He is an angry but friendly kitchen knife. In season 1, he is a jerk. In season 2, he attempts to change but still calls himself a jerk. However, he sacrifices his life for Marshmallow in “Objects in Mirror”, dying and becoming a ghost at “Purgatory Mansion”. Knife likes playing with a Dora the Explorer doll he received at an elimination ceremony in season 1, and has a rivalry with Trophy.
• Lightbulb is a character on II, II2, and II IV. She is a friendly lightbulb who loves to have fun. She lead Team Epic, The Bright Lights, and Heavy Metal Pop Stars in their three seasons. She have a pet crab named Baxter. In season 2, she befriend Paintbrush and give Baxter to them. In season 4, the Blu-ray is used on them to protect her from death, since she are fragile. She play on “Heavy Metal Pop Stars”.
• Marshmallow is a contestant on II and II2. She is a brash but shy marshmallow. In season 1, she is often killed by Knife, forms a friendship with Bow, and forms a rivalry with Apple. In season 2, she befriends Apple and quit the show in order to live in “Purgatory Mansion” with Bow and Apple. In season 4, she is against the game continuing, however trusts Fan to not make a bad choice.
• Nickel is a contestant on II, II2, and III. He is a nickel who is often sarcastic. He forms an alliance with Baseball and Suitcase, however is betrayed by the latter in “Kick the Bucket” due to his mistreatment of Balloon. In season 3, he befriends Balloon and forms an alliance with him and Bot named “The Looney Balloonies”.
• O.J. is a contestant on II and III. He is a gay glass of orange juice who is kind. He befriends Paper in the first season, and uses the $1,000,000 he wins to make a hotel for everyone (except Balloon) to live in. In season 2, he repairs the hotel after MePhone4 crashes a plane into it along with Paper, Salt, Pepper, Pickle, and Bomb. He sues MePhone4 after finding eliminated hostages in his hotel. He competed in Season 3, befriending Paintbrush, and is canonically dating Paper after “Objects in Mirror”. In season 4, the Blu-ray is used on him to protect him from death, since he is fragile. He also is part of the O.S.C in season 4, leading the “Order” part.
• Paintbrush is a contestant on II, II2, and III. They are a non-binary paintbrush who befriends Lightbulb, Fan, Test Tube, and O.J. throughout their time on seasons 2 and 3. They have the ability to unwillingly shoot flames out of their bristles when angry. In season 4, they are part of Suitcase’s Safety Authority.
• Paper is a contestant on II and II IV. He is a gay shy piece of paper. He has an evil version of themself after being imprisoned in Idiotic Island for many years, and is canonically dating O.J. after “Objects in Mirror”. He is an actor at the theater in season 4.
• Pepper is a contestant on II and II IV. She is a nice pepper container who is “best condiment friends forever” with Salt. In season 1, she is a follower of whatever Salt does, however they compete without Salt by their side and work at the hospital in season 4.
• Pickle is a contestant on II. He is a pickled cucumber who befriends Taco in season 1. However, after discovering Taco’s true identity, he hates her. He befriends Knife in season 2, after getting advice on a video game.
• Salt is a contestant on II. She is a salt container who is “best condiment friends forever” with Pepper, and has a crush on O.J. In season 4, they own the hospital.
• Taco is a contestant on II and II IV. She is a British bossy taco who fakes her personality; acting dumb in order to advance further on the competition in the first season. She form a friendship with Pickle, which is immediately broken when O.J wins the show and she isn’t able to get the money. In season 2, she help out Microphone in the challenge, with Mic promising to split the prize if she wins. However, when Microphone quits, she realizes that the game will damage everyone and kidnaps MePad to help host “Truth or Flare”. In season 4, she is still friends with Mic, and befriends Soap, attempting to redeem herself and regain everyone’s trust.

Debuted in Inanimate Insanity II

• Box is a contestant on II2, III, and II IV. She is a nice box, who was inanimate in seasons 2 and 3 yet was treated like a real person. In “Objects in Mirror”, they are revealed to have been dead, drowning before the show began while trying to audition, escaping MePhone4’s void alongside the rest of the cast. In season 4, she is part of Suitcase’s Safety Authority.
• Cheesy is a contestant on II2 and II IV. He is a silly slice of cheese who often slaps his knee when a pun is made, whether by him or another character. In season 2, he learns his jokes can be offensive to others, tries to change, and befriends Microphone. In season 4, she is desperate to stop slapping her knee, however is unable to because of how MePhone4 wanted her to be.
• Cherries is a contestant on II2 and II IV. They are two cherries twins, one person in two different bodies. They like pranking others. In season 2, a prank gets out of hand and they accidentally send Marshmallow to Mars, causing their elimination. In season 4, they remain the same, and play on the “Thematic Cats”.
• Dough is a contestant on II2. He is a piece of dough who likes stairs, lairs, and everything rhyming with “chairs”. He was found by Toilet to replace Bow in “A Kick In The Right Direction”, however was eaten by Yin and became a ghost at “Purgatory Mansion” before debuting, living with Bow, who he claims is his sister.
• Fan is a contestant on II2 and III. He is a friendly red hand fan with a yellow handle. In season 2, He befriends Test Tube, taking care of Egg before their elimination. In season 3, He revealed to have created Bot alongside Test Tube. In season 4, He and Test Tube want to continue Inanimate Insanity in good intentions, and host the show.
• Microphone is a contestant on II2 and II IV. She is a microphone. In season 2, they befriend Soap, however after Soap’s elimination, she is offered a deal by Taco to split the prize if Microphone wins, which she accepts. In “Hatching the Plan”, Microphone quits the show after she realizes Taco’s bad influence on her, though still staying friends with Taco.
• Soap is a contestant on II2 and II IV. She is an anxious but friendly pink-and-white soap dispenser who has an urge to clean any messes in her sight. In season 2, she befriends Microphone and forms a rivalry with Toilet, finding him “useless”. In season 4, she is more fine with messes.
• Suitcase is a contestant on II2. She is a shy brown suitcase with yellow rubber bands around her who experiences many hallucinations and is kind towards her friends. In season 2, she wins by blowing up Steve Cobs with an egg-disguised bomb. She befriends Balloon and Knife, forming a rivalry with Nickel due to his mistreatment of Balloon. She also is part of the O.S.C in season 4, leading the “Safety” part.
• Test Tube is a contestant on II2 and III. She is a green test tube who is very smart, and uses her intelligence to build devices, She is Fan’s BFF. In season 2, she takes Egg after Fan’s elimination, however makes up with Fan in the next episode. In season 3, she forms a rivalry (later friendship) with Cabby, and is revealed to have created Bot alongside Fan. In season 4, after a near-death incident caused by Jack’s anger, the Blu-ray is used on her to protect her from death, since she is fragile. She also co-hosts.
• Tissues is a contestant on II2. He is a blue-green tissue box, who often sneezes germs.
• Trophy is a contestant on II2 and II IV. He is a trophy, often referred to as a jock by Knife. In season 2, he bullies and blackmails Knife after finding out about his Dora the Explorer doll, causing his elimination. In season 4, he chills out, however remains competitive in the show.
• Yin-Yang is a contestant on II2 and III. They are a yinyang with two different personalities; Yin, a kind character, and Yang, a mean character, who both live in the yinyang. Yin and Yang learn to balance each other out in season 3. They debuted into the series due to winning a T-Shirt contest hosted in 2013.

• Blueberry is a contestant on III. He is a sad and lazy blueberry
• Bot is a contestant on III. They are a friendly but shy robot bow tie created by Fan and Test Tube. Originally named Bow, they were a perfect replica of Bow from the first season, discovering their origins in “Out Of Body Experience”. They then change their name to TBD, and lastly change it to Bot after receiving a new voice and new legs. They befriend Cabby in “Spring On The Breakfast!” In season 4, they co-host.
• Cabby is a contestant on III. She is a nice filing cabinet who writes files about other contestants due to amnesia. She also is part of the O.S.C in season 4, leading the “Cooperation” part.
• Candle is a contestant on III and II IV. She is a calm purple candle
• Clover is a contestant on III. She is a four-leaf clover with very good luck.
• Goo is a contestant on III and II IV. He is a anxious but friendly blue piece of slime who is Bot’s best friend
• Lifering is a contestant on III and II IV. He is a lifebuoy obsessed with keeping people safe.
• Silver Spoon is a contestant on III. He is a calm independent silver spoon
• Tea Kettle is a contestant on III and II IV. She is a bossy but friendly kettle
