Lakshay Madankumar (born 2010) is an Australian competitive junior tennis player. He is currently ranked among the top under-16 junior male players in the state of South Australia.[1]

Junior Career

[edit]

Madankumar trains out of the Adelaide Rising Stars Tennis Academy and competes locally for the Marion Tennis Club and Tea Tree Gully Tennis Club in Adelaide.[2]

Representing Westminster School in Adelaide, Madankumar serves as the school's number-one seed for senior boys' tennis matches, helping lead the team to a series of regional victories including the annual Intercol tournament against Pembroke School.[3]

In February 2026, Madankumar was selected by School Sport SA to represent South Australia as part of the state's 18-and-under representative tennis team.[4] On the international stage, he has competed on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Circuit, participating in tournaments such as the J60 Adelaide event.[5]
