L. Kyle Ferguson is an American attorney. He is the founder and chief executive officer of FBFK Law, a business law firm based in Dallas, Texas.
Early life and education
[edit]Ferguson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Southern California College (now Vanguard University). He later attended the University of Oklahoma, where he earned both a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor in 1999.[1]
Career
[edit]Ferguson founded Ferguson Braswell Fraser Kubasta PC, now FBFK Law, in Dallas, Texas, in 2001.[1][2]
Rather than serving as a traditional managing partner, Ferguson assumed the role of chief executive officer and focused on the firm's long-term strategy, operations, and growth. The firm concentrated on serving middle-market businesses and entrepreneurs, an approach discussed in legal industry publications.[2][3]
Under Ferguson's leadership, the firm expanded from two attorneys at its founding to offices in Texas and California.[2]
In 2024, FBFK Law expanded into California through a combination with Stephens Friedland LLP, a litigation firm based in Orange County.[3]
In 2025, the Daily Journal reported on FBFK Law's continued expansion in Southern California following its entry into the California market, including the firm's relocation to a larger Irvine office.[4]
