Leila is enjoying the happiest period of her life and is preparing to marry the man she loves. However, on her wedding night, she discovers that the people she believed to be her parents are not her biological parents. She begins searching for her real family and travels to Khorramshahr, where war has broken out.

On the way, her husband is killed in a bombing raid by Iraqi fighter aircraft, leaving her alone in an unfamiliar city. There, she finds her mother, while her father is taken prisoner by the Iraqis. The two can only see each other through a wall.
