KEI Industries Limited is an Indian wire and cable manufacturing company headquartered in New Delhi, India.[2] Established in 1968 as a partnership firm under the name Krishna Electrical Industries, the company manufactures Extra High Voltage (EHV), High Tension (HT), Low Tension (LT) power cables, control cables, instrumentation cables, and building wires.[3]

History

[edit]

The company was established in 1968 to manufacture house wiring cables. It was incorporated as a public limited enterprise in 1992 and subsequently listed its shares on the BSE and NSE.[4] Over the decades, KEI expanded its production facilities and technical capabilities, including entering extra-high-voltage (EHV) cable manufacturing through a technical collaboration with Switzerland-based Brugg Kabel.[5]

Operations and Manufacturing

[edit]

KEI Industries operates primary manufacturing plants across several locations in India, including Bhiwadi, Chopanki, and Pathredi in Rajasthan, Silvassa, and a greenfield expansion facility in Sanand, Gujarat.[6]

The company operates an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) division for power transmission and distribution projects. It supplies cabling solutions across diverse sectors including power utilities, oil and gas, infrastructure, railways, and real estate, exporting its products to over 50 countries worldwide.[7]

Brand Ambassadorship

[edit]

In June 2026, KEI Industries appointed actress Rashmika Mandanna as its brand ambassador to lead its nationwide marketing initiative and strengthen consumer engagement.[8]
