Jungceylon is a shopping mall located in Patong, Phuket Province, Thailand. Opened in 2007, it is one of the largest shopping malls in southern Thailand, covering an area of 200,000 m2 (2,200,000 sq ft).[1][2]
Jungceylon is situated in the centre of Patong, near Bangla Road, approximately 400 m (1,300 ft) from Patong Beach.[3]
Zoning
[edit]Following a major renovation completed in 2024 with an investment of over 1 billion Thai baht[4][5], the mall is organised into four themed zones:
- The Jungle Zone: the front building along Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, decorated in a Tropical Resort style. This zone features fashion and lifestyle brands. Food Bazaar food court, and Thairapy wellness and Thai souvenir.
- The Bay Zone: a semi-outdoor zone at the centre of the mall, featuring a 20-metre Chinese Junk Boat as a landmark event stage. A central meeting area and a venue for cultural shows, live performances, and seasonal festivals.
- The Botanica Zone: the main retail zone housing the mall's primary department store and supermarket anchors, as well as digital, IT gadget retailers and entertainment for families.
- The Garden Zone: a relaxed dining and lifestyle zone featuring Sino-Portuguese shophouse architecture connects to Patong Road 3 (Sai Kor Road). This zone focuses on international restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues.[6]
