Julia Kirkhgesner (born 1989 in Krasnoturyinsk) is an artist, art director and publisher of the ST.ART magazine, now based in Tel Aviv.
Career
[edit]Kirkhgesner studied monumental painting at the Saint Petersburg Repin Academy of Fine Arts from 2010 to 2017. She began her professional career as a visual artist. In 2014, she received third prize in the Made in Russia competition in Milan, Italy. In 2018, Kirkhgesner presented the solo exhibition Reconstruction at the Annenkirche in Saint Petersburg.
In 2020, Kirkhgesner founded ST.ART, an independent publication focused on contemporary art. She serves as the magazine's founder, publisher, and art director. In 2021, Kirkhgesner served as art director for a limited-edition ballet project for Bentley.
In 2026, she served as exhibition project director for a solo exhibition by Eli Yudovich at Palazzo Smith in Venice, Italy.
