Jibon Roy is a Bangladeshi sand artist, actor, and agriculturist.[1][2]
Early life and education
[edit]Roy studied Fisheries Science at Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, where he participated in student theatre and began practicing sand art animation in 2012.[1]
Career

[edit]Roy's sand art animation was featured in the 2016 Bangladeshi film Ice Cream, directed by Redoan Rony. In 2017, he performed a sand art presentation titled "Digital Bangladesh" at a Dhaka Chamber of Commerce event. His sand art was also used as promotional content for the 2021 film Raat Jaga Phool. Over his career, he has created sand art animations for corporate events and promotional campaigns.[3][1]
Acting
[edit]Roy made his television acting debut in the 2014 drama Sorry Dipanwita, directed by Swaraj Deb.[4] In 2016–17, he participated in the reality show Channel i Fair & Lovely Men, placing among the top ten contestants.[2]
He subsequently appeared in television series and single-episode dramas, including Salahuddin Lavlu's Priyo Din Priyo Rat (2018) and Ashfaque Nipun's Fad Fokor and Baghini.[2]
Agriculture
[edit]Roy manages two agricultural projects focused on organic farming and aquaculture—"Organic Agro" in Syedpur and "Sundori Agro" near the Sundarbans.[5][1]
