Janiro Moscoso is a Filipino actor, writer, and composer. He is best known for writing, starring in, and composing music for the 2024 independent Filipino film Kupido, in which he portrayed the lead character, Bren Mendoza. He has also appeared on Philippine television through GMA Network's variety program TiktoClock.[1]
Career
[edit]Moscoso gained television exposure after appearing as a contestant in the "Boy Romantiko" segment of the GMA Network variety program TiktoClock.[1]
In 2024, he wrote and starred in the independent romantic comedy-drama film Kupido, directed by Ralph Manaloto and Shaira Mendoza. In addition to portraying the film's protagonist, Bren Mendoza, he served as the film's screenwriter and was credited as one of its composers.[2]
Kupido was released in the Philippines on 19 July 2024. The film follows three friends navigating friendship, jealousy, romance, and self-discovery.[2]
