  • Comment: It isn't clear that there is notability under Wikipedia's definitions. The first thought was WP:NACADEMIC but none of the criteria there apply. There is also WP:NAUTHOR, which in a simple version is "two books, two book reviews", which isn't present here. Finally there is the option of the WP:GOLDENRULE, so three profiles in independent sources giving signficant coverage. James Lees is a British physicist known for his science communication work.

Working as a lecturer at the University of York[1] in condensed matter physics he has also been involved with Science Communication, especially championing the work of early career researchers, across several national institutions including the Institute of Physics[2], Royal Society[3], and STFC[4]

Lees was awarded the 2025 Institute of Physics Mary Somerville Medal "For helping to improve the effectiveness of outreach activities"[5]
