A currently unnamed future Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, coded JS2A, was announced on 4 March 2026. Located in the future Forest Hill district of Tengah at what is now Jalan Lam Sam, the station will serve the Jurong Region Line once it opens in the mid-2030s.
History
[edit]During the Ministry of Transport's Committee of Supply debate speech on 4 March 2026, Acting Minister Jeffrey Siow announced an infill station between Choa Chu Kang West and Tengah stations on the future Jurong Region Line, tentatively named JS2A. The station is planned to be open in the mid-2030s, in line with the development of Tengah's Forest Hill district.[1]
