JOA (born Joa Enkin) is a DJ and music producer based in Miami, Florida. His music is associated with melodic techno and tech house.[1]

Career

JOA began releasing music in 2025. His releases include "No Games" and "Heavy", a collaboration with Armin van Buuren.[2][3]

In 2025, JOA collaborated with Armin van Buuren on "Heavy". EDM.com described the track as a melodic techno release and identified JOA as a Miami-based producer.[4]

JOA was included in Tomorrowland and One World Radio's "20 of 2026", a selection of emerging artists presented as artists to watch during 2026. The publication described him as being based in Miami and working in melodic techno and tech house. It also reported that he was among the most-played artists at Tomorrowland 2025 and that "Heavy" topped the 1001Tracklists charts.[5]

According to Tomorrowland, JOA has collaborated with Armin van Buuren and ARTBAT, with both releases reaching the top two of the Beatport charts. The publication also reported support for his music from Anyma, David Guetta, and Tiësto, and more than 10 million streams during his breakthrough year.[6]

In January 2026, JOA collaborated with Brazilian DJ and producer Alok on "Go Mode". The single was released through B1 Recordings/Sony Music Germany/RCA Records.[7]
