Inna Anatolievna Capdeboscq (née Korchagina) is a mathematician and full professor in the Mathematics Institute at the University of Warwick. She received her Ph.D. from the Ohio State University in 2001, supervised by Ronald Solomon.[1] Her research is in group theory, particularly questions related to the classification of finite simple groups (CFSG). She is an editor of the Journal of Algebra.[2]

Along with Ronald Solomon and Richard Lyons (and the late Daniel Gorenstein), she an author of volumes 9 and 10 of the "second-generation" proof of the CFSG,[3][4][5] an attempt to unify and solidify the immense proof (stretching beyond 10,000 journal pages, with some of the proof originally only communicated informally).[6] She is the only coauthor of a yet-appeared volume of the second-generation proof who was not a contributor to the original first-generation proof.
