Igor Djurcik (born 14 June 1978) is a Serbian theologian and author. His work has focused on relationship between religion and contemporary society, as well as on social issues.[1][2] He is the co-founder and President of the Association for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (2004-2025)[3] and he was Vice president the Center for Missing and Abused Children (2010-2020)[4].

Academic career

Igor Đurčik worked as a professor and Assistent dean for extension study at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia.[1][5][6] He was subsequently affiliated as a professor at the Protestant Theological Faculty in Novi Sad. [7] Đurčik has also taught at the Balkan Theological Faculty in Niš. In BTF listed him as the lecturer for the course Metodologija istraživačkog rada (Research Methodology).[8]

He has written dozents of academic and professional articles published in scholarly journals and online.[1] [2] [9][6][10][7] He has given numerous public lectures at conferences, public events, literary evenings, and other gatherings.[11]
