Huda Mustafa (born August 30, 2000) is an American media personality who appeared on the seventh season of *Love Island USA*.[1]

Early life

Huda Mustafa was born on August 30, 2000, in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Before her television career, she worked as a fitness coach and shared lifestyle content on social media. She is of Palestinian descent and graduated from East Chapel Hill High School in 2018.[2] On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Mustafa spoke about her "abusive" father.[3]

Career

In 2025, Mustafa appeared on the seventh season of the reality dating series Love Island USA, broadcast on Peacock.[4][5][6] She entered the villa on the first day and ultimately finished in third place during the season finale on July 13, 2025. During the show, she was coupled with Jeremiah Brown, JD Dodard, and Chris Seeley. Sealey and Mustafa ended their relationship during the live finale.[7] Her performance on the show and its reunion drew widespread attention and polarized viewers.[3][8][9] Following the show, the father of her child publicly urged viewers to refrain from harassment and cyberbullying amid online backlash.[10]

She has collaborated with several companies, including the National Football League and Huda Beauty; her partnership with the latter was cancelled in October 2025.[11][12][13][14]

In May 2026, Mustafa released her debut single "Bad Girls," along with a music video directed by Edgar Esteves and Anastasia Delmark. The single received mixed reviews from critics.[15][16]

Personal life

Mustafa has a daughter and has spoken publicly about motherhood in interviews and media appearances.[1] From 2025 to 2026, she dated reality television personality Louis Russell; Russell's ex-girlfriend filed a restraining order against Mustafa, citing alleged "threatening behaviour." Mustafa denied all allegations.[17][18][19]
