Comment: Also creator has apparent COI to this page, but not disclosed. Asked them to disclose grapesurgeon (talk) 11:56, 27 September 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Not enough WP:RS to prove notability. Fairly minor blogs, by and large. One of them is a semi-advertising-ish company (EnVi Media). Can you find more mainstream coverage? grapesurgeon (talk) 11:55, 27 September 2026 (UTC)

Jason Hohyun Lee (Korean: 이호현), known professionally as Hohyun (stylized in all caps), is a Korean-American singer, songwriter, record producer, and filmmaker.
Early life
[edit]Lee was born in Japan to a U.S. Air Force family and moved frequently during childhood, living in South Korea and the United States before his family settled in Houston, Texas, during his teens.[1][2] Before pursuing music, he worked in video production and visual effects.[3] His early musical influences included Korean R&B artists such as Zion.T and Sam Kim.[1]
Music career
[edit]2018–2022: Early releases
[edit]Lee released his debut single, "Just Wanna Stay," in 2018; it was picked up by a Spotify editorial playlist.[2] He followed with two EPs, Stage Fright (2019) and Dreams (2021), writing, producing, and recording his music independently.[2][3]
In the spring of 2022, Lee released "SUNSET BOULEVARD," which became his breakout single. By 2023, the song had received over seven million streams on Spotify, and his monthly listeners approached 500,000.[2]
He performed at the 2019 Korean Festival in Houston and HAAPI Fest, and headlined the 2021 Summer Seoul Festival.[4]
2024–present: DRAMA. and Petrichor
[edit]On March 15, 2024, Lee released his debut studio album, DRAMA., a 16-track record blending indie pop, bossa nova, and R&B.[5] Following its release, he completed his first solo North American tour, with dates in New York, Houston, Austin, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, and headlined a solo concert at White Oak Music Hall in Houston in January 2025.[4]
On November 11, 2025, Lee released Petrichor, a ten-track visual album addressing depression and mental health; the album was released fully independently.[6][7] The lead single, "FLAWED," explores self-acceptance and his experiences with depression and anxiety.[7]
In December 2025, Lee toured six North American cities with singer-songwriter Sarah Kang.[6]
Artistry
[edit]Lee's music blends English and Korean lyrics, and his songwriting addresses themes of mental health, identity, and self-acceptance.[1][6] He directs his own music videos and describes approaching songwriting visually, imagining scenes before writing.[6]
