From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heads Up For Tails (HUFT) is an Indian pet care retail company headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. It was founded in 2008 by Rashi Narang and sells pet food, accessories, and grooming products through physical stores and an e-commerce platform.

History Rashi Narang, previously employed in human resources at Citigroup, founded Heads Up For Tails in 2008 after being unable to find pet accessories she wanted for her dog. The business began with products sold at exhibitions before Narang opened an e-commerce site and a retail kiosk at Select Citywalk mall in New Delhi.

In 2016, HUFT merged with the Bengaluru-based pet store chain Paws, The Pet Store; the founders of Paws, Sandeep Atmaram and Ridhima Coelho, subsequently joined HUFT as co-founders.

In 2021, the company raised a Series A funding round of approximately $37 million led by Verlinvest and Sequoia Capital India (later renamed Peak XV Partners).

== Products == HUFT sells pet food, treats, collars, leashes, harnesses, bowls, clothing, grooming products, and furniture for dogs and cats. The company also operates a non-profit animal welfare initiative, the HUFT Foundation, which works with animal welfare organisations on feeding and sterilisation drives for street animals.
