Hayden Birmingham is an Australian guitarist and songwriter. His music incorporates elements of blues rock, hard rock, heavy metal, and classical guitar.
Career
[edit]Birmingham began releasing solo music in 2026. His compositions are characterized by electric lead guitar performance, acoustic nylon-string classical phrasing, and blues-based rhythm arrangements.[1] His debut single, "A Day Late, And A Dollar Short," was added to the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (AMRAP) registry in 2026.[2] Subsequent single releases including "Getcha Pull" and "Miura & Manolete" drew coverage from independent rock publications, noting the integration of classical acoustic guitar techniques alongside 1990s hard rock and blues rock influences.[3][4]
In September 2026, Birmingham released his debut studio album, Rude Mood, a 12-track instrumental record.[5] The album received coverage across several international music outlets. Reviewing the album for Tunitemusic, Arashk Azizi noted its focus on guitar-driven hard rock structures derived from 1980s and 1990s rock music.[5] Publications including Return of Rock and French site Riptide Magazine published features on the album's technical guitar arrangements and rhythm pacing,[6][7] while Spanish magazine Rock Culture featured the record in its roundup of independent international rock releases.[8] Colombian publication Rockear.Co reviewed the album's 12 tracks as a progression through blues, hard rock, and heavy metal styles,[9] and Brazilian outlet Roadie Metal covered the album's instrumental compositions.[10]
