Hasnae Taleb (Arabic: حسناء طالب; born December 8, 1993) is a Moroccan financial executive, television presenter, and entrepreneur based in the United Arab Emirates. She is the managing partner of Mintiply Capital, an investment banking advisory firm, and a partner for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region at Fuel Venture Capital.
Taleb is also known for her work in broadcast media as the host of the financial literacy programme Awwal Malyoun (Arabic: أول مليون, lit. "First Million") on the regional news network Al Mashhad. She is frequently cited in Arab and international media as a commentator on U.S. equity markets, trading psychology, and global investment trends.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Taleb was born in Khénifra, a city in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco.[2] She spent her early childhood in various Moroccan cities before relocating to the United States at the age of 17 to pursue her education. During the same year, she participated in an educational programme at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.[3]
She attended American University, where she completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2014. During her undergraduate studies, she developed an interest in financial markets, citing coursework in macroeconomics as a catalyst for her move into equity trading.[4] She later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Bolton in 2019.

In 2024, Mintiply Capital entered into a strategic partnership with Fuel Venture Capital, a U.S.-based venture capital firm headquartered in Miami. Under the agreement, Taleb was appointed partner for the GCC region, overseeing a dedicated investment vehicle focused on technology startups across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).[7]
