Glorin Sebastian is an Indian-American cybersecurity and information systems researcher, consultant, and author known for his work on artificial intelligence governance, shadow AI risks, and human oversight in AI-mediated decision-making. He works in information technology consulting and has published research on cybersecurity governance, AI risk management, and organizational impacts of generative AI. Sebastian is the author of the Digital Shadow AI Risk Theory (DART) framework and the CTRL Theory of Youth–AI Dependency. His research has appeared in peer-reviewed academic journals including Technological Forecasting and Social Change and the Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics in Society.
