GlobalTek is an Iraqi engineering and infrastructure company based in Baghdad. The company was established in 2021 and operates in areas including energy, renewable energy, telecommunications infrastructure, and data centre infrastructure.[1]

[edit]GlobalTek was established in Baghdad in 2021. The company operates under the legal name Solutions Professional for General Contracting LLC (شركة حلول المحترف للمقاولات العامة ذ.م.م).[2]
Activities
[edit]The company's activities include renewable-energy projects, telecommunications and fibre-optic infrastructure, and infrastructure for data centres.[3]
In November 2025, Iraq Business News reported that GlobalTek and Shams Telecom had signed a memorandum of understanding concerning cooperation on solar-energy and related technology projects in Iraq. The agreement also covered technology and infrastructure services for the telecommunications and energy sectors.[4]
GlobalTek has also participated in activities related to renewable energy in Iraq. In 2025, Al-Zawraa newspaper reported on the company's participation in an energy exhibition and quoted one of its sales engineers discussing the development of solar-energy projects in Iraq.[5]
Data centres and digital infrastructure
[edit]In April 2026, GlobalTek signed a strategic partnership agreement with Huawei concerning data centres and digital infrastructure in Iraq. The agreement was reported by Alsumaria News following a seminar organised by GlobalTek on business continuity in modern data centres.[6]
The agreement and the associated seminar were also reported by Alghad Press, which described participation by representatives from the banking, electronic-payment and technology sectors, as well as Huawei and the Uptime Institute.[7]
